I’m Dave James,
I became interested in radio in 1981, using my mum’s radiogram and a hammer wedged in somewhere as a microphone.
At 15, I went to work as a teaboy at Essex Radio on a Saturday afternoon. At age 18 I was offered a place at broadcasting college through Essex Radio, but chose to be a blue coat at haven holiday parks instead. I’ve remained interested in radio ever since and now enjoy presenting on Red Berry Radio.
